Summer in Ciudad Juárez is usually a time for celebration, but Carlos can’t stop worrying about the future. Now that he’s graduated from high school, what happens next? His best friend Marco seems to have life all figured out—he’s got a college acceptance letter and a cool summer job as a local guide.
